Q: Do I have to repair my vehicle where the insurance company suggests?
A: You have the legal right to choose the shop of your choice to repair your vehicle. POC Collision works directly with all insurance companies and repairs all domestic and foreign makes and models of cars, including hybrids.
Q: I received an estimate from the insurance company what should I do?
A: Just bring the estimate to the POC Collision repair center near you -- we’ll handle the rest. We honor all insurance estimates, regardless of amount, and will work with the insurance company to document all damages and restore your vehicle to pre-accident condition. Remember, an estimate is just a starting point, and changes can be made after the vehicle is disassembled and all related damages can be seen.
Q: Do I need more than one estimate?
A: No. There is no law requiring you to get more than one estimate. You only need one estimate from the place you want your vehicle repaired. If the insurance company wants a second estimate, they can send their own appraiser to look at the vehicle. We will honor the insurance company's estimate.
Q: My car might not be safe to drive, what should I do?
A: Never drive a vehicle that may be unsafe. Call any POC Collision repair center and we will have your vehicle towed to our safe and secure lot. If you need a tow after hours, we recommend Ray’s Truck Service in Saco (207-282-0059) and Don’s No Preference Towing Company in Auburn (207-784-4619)
Q: I have a hybrid vehicle. Can you repair my car?
A: Yes, our technicians are trained on an on-going basis in proper repair and safety techniques for repairing hybrid vehicles. We follow all manufacturer's recommendations and guidelines to ensure your vehicle is restored to its pre-accident condition.
